Continental Outdoor Media expands operations in Mozambique
Continental Outdoor Media Mozambique Lda (COM Mozambique) , the largest out of home (OOH)company with a heritage of more than 20 years in the sector in Mozambique, has just got bigger. COM Mozambique recently purchased the business assets from Cityad Lda, retaining Cityad’s employees.
The business now employs 39 staff all under the leadership of the Continental Outdoor Media country General Manager, Nuno dos Santos. This acquisition has resulted in COM Mozambique owning in excess of 1700 static advertising panels throughout Mozambique in both rural and urban areas. In addition, it owns the sole rights for lamp poles in Maputo and Northern and Central Mozambique, and enjoys rights at the Maputo Airport.
“We are delighted to welcome the Cityad Lda staff to our team and are excited about COM Mozambique’s future as we can now offer our clients significant reach for their campaigns. Cityad’s existing clients will also benefit as their options are broadened and they can feel confident that they will receive top quality service that we as Continental Outdoor Media pride ourselves in, in all regions where we operate. It is a privilege to guide this team from strength to strength,” says Adelaide McKelvey, Managing Director Rest of Africa at Continental Outdoor Media.
